• Minimum rental period - 1 week

• Price is per week (7 days / 7 nights)

• Maximum occupancy is 8 persons, including children. In case of an occupancy for more than 8 persons without noticing the landlord, part of the deposit will be retained.

• Bookings are made from Saturday to Saturday

• Arrival time from 3pm - 6pm on Saturday

• Departure time on the next Saturday from 8am to 10am at the latest

• 50% of the total price is required as deposit when booking, unless agreed prior to the rental between the renter and the landlord.

• The booking will be considered final upon reception of the deposit.

• The remaining balance of the total amount must be paid 2 months (60 days) prior to the date of arrival, along with the payment of a security deposit of 1500€ (CHF 2'300) to cover breakages and damages. The security deposit  will be refunded in full within a week after departure, less the cost of any damage or breakage. This deposit can also be made in cash upon arrival or by cheque as agreed with the landlord.

• In case of cancellation 2 months (60 days ) before commencement of the rental, the 50% deposit will be refunded in full.

• In case of cancellation between 2 months (60 days ) and 1 month (30 days) before commencement of the rental, 50% of the price will be retained. The security deposit will be refunded in full.

• In case of cancellation less than a month (30 days) before commencement of the rental, no refund of the rent will be made. The security deposit will be refunded in full.

• Payments will normally be made via bank transfer, unless agreed prior to the rental between the renter and the landlord.

• The price indicated in Euro must be paid as such, unless agreed prior to the rental between the renter and the landlord.

• Renters are expected to have a full cover damage insurance covering goods and persons, for personal or accidental damage on the premises. The renter is liable for any loss or damage caused by him/her or by other users during the rental period. The landlord assumes no liability, including in cases of theft and/or breaking. Use of the electric and electronic appliances is at the sole responsibility of the renters. Users' guides and technical manuals are available in the laundry room.

• In conformity with French law, the swimming pool is equiped with an infra-red detection safety device for children NOXALARM ® - NF P 90 -307 / Registered LM 04 0025. However, this does not replace common sense r the individual responsibility of parents or other adults present on the premises and responsible for the security of the children.  The renters are sole responsible for making good use of the security system during the stay. The landlord declines all responsibility for not using the system. Any dysfunction must be reported to the landlord immediately.

• Fire in the chimneys, in the garden or in a charcoal barbecue is not allowed by city decree. Please use the gas barbecue which is at the disposal of the renters.

• A complete inventory will be realized upon arrival and departure.

• Keys will be provided upon arrival and must be returned before departure  - Lost keys will be charged.

• Price includes a normal power consumption of electricity - Excessive consumption of electric power will be deducted from the security deposit. The electric metre will be checked upon arrival and departure. 

• Household linen is included in the rental - No discount will be offered to renters bringing his/her own household linen.

• Price includes thorough house cleaning upon arrival - Cleaning of cooking facilities, crockery and cutlery is the responsibility of the renter, and is not included in the cleaning. Additional house cleaning services can be arrange upon request at the cost of the renters.

• The property is unsuitable for persons using wheelchairs.

• La Bastide de Lorgues is a smoke-free property - Thank you for not smoking in the bedrooms and bathrooms.

• No telephone is available on the premises but Internet WIFI connection is available throughout the property. Please consult all the technical information provided for connecting your computer to the Internet.

• Please note that the swimming pool is not heated and therefore unavailable from mid-April to mid-October.

• Pool cleaning and gardening is the responsibility of the landlord. Access to the engine and technical room is not allowed. Please contact the landlord immediately should a technical problem arise.

• Small pets are allowed under certain conditions. The renter assumes all responsibility for damage caused by pets during the rental period.

• The rental property must be looked after carefully. Consideration should be given to neighbours.
